Klondike Solitaire for Android and iPhone challenges your brain and your patience alike. Welcome to one of the most beloved single player card games in the world.
Your goal is to build four stacks of cards with the same suit and in an ascending order from Ace to King. Of course you need to put a little effort into it to get there.
♠ Klondike Solitaire Rules ♠
How does Klondike Solitaire work? Well, it's basically not that different from your regular Solitaire game, but with some differences here and there.
So let's see what the overall premise of the game is:
- Your main table consists of 7 piles of cards. You add new cards here, as this is your main task during each round.
- The 4 empty fields that you see are there for the 4 final stacks you are going to build.
- The stock pile consists of all cards that have not been laid out on the table. Take these cards and use them where you need them.
Now that we have gotten the basics out of the way, let's talk about what you actually do here. Use all available cards to build sequences upon the 7 piles that you see before you. A sequence can only be in a descending order and with alternating colors. If there is a black 10 on top, you can only add a red 9, for example.
Aces are to be placed in the four empty fields, just like in the original Solitaire game. These are the foundation for the stacks you need to build. But here you need to build each stack with the same suit. So in the end you have a stack of Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs and Spades. And the cards can only be stacked in an ascending order from Ace to King.
